Shock Treatment
Many of our friends and colleagues are celebrating Holidays centered on renewal and rebirth, while in a good portion of the world nature is doing the same.
Yet all one has to do is look at the news to see how jaded we have become to suffering and death, in direct contradistinction to what the season (religious or physical) is telling us.
- I really thank to one who wrote this article. I have always been reading and writing texts like this in blogs. Also, I, as a daily writer, present my respects to everyone. I just watched videos like this in video izle. I research in all areas...
- too much to process -- not enough room to store and not enough time -- how true! and by the way take the time to cheer for Captain Richard Phillips and the Navy Seals!!!
- I wonder if this phenomenon is related to the rate in which we absorb data. Technology and media (or perhaps our choices in how we consume it) feeds data points to us so quickly, we are forced to super-compute the variables - absorbing, deflecting, reacting and discarding amazingly fast in order to keep the pipes open for more - flashback ...
