The elephant and the snail
Everyone wants to be the elephant. It is easy to state flexibility and quickness when you are in a smaller environment but do not doubt for one second that we all want to be large. Speaking from experience we promote our ability to work with customers as a real collaboration in terms of what they want but thats because we have the time to do so. The minute there is an opportunity to grow I would bet 99 percent of us will forgo a little mono to mono time with small clients to have the ability to gain larger clients and grow ourselves. Lets face facts there are not too many people in the business world that says, "Hey I have this great idea to revolutionize widgets but you know what I think I'll only revolutionize Bill down the street." In the end elephants hang out with other elephants and make no mistake I want to be an elephant too.

As they always say: The race is not always to the fastest and the quickest, but that's the way to bet.
