Quote for a dog day afternoon
- I think Stan Lee looked at the blog and saw a strong pink "WUNDERMAN" in a light blue arrow outline. [I still have some business cards like that - collector's items].
He may have been expecting a different font, all lower case in a kind of indigo shade.

Did you ever laugh at a new idea?
Did you ever laugh at a new idea? Come on…tell the truth! You laughed, thought it was crazy or stupid or whatever, and today, you wish you had thought of it yourself.
- As always -- the truth is always somewhere in the middle -- lots of ideas that sounded funny were in fact dumb -- its part of the game to figure it out
- Coyote (and Roadrunner) and ACME. Breaks me up, big time! Real break-through ideas have a similar effect. Bit more sublime. Steps in between can be a bit tedious, quite a bit. But who cares. Tedious is penance for not working it out sooner and simpler. Tom.
- On the other hand, quite often you see really, really dumb ideas getting flooded with investment money, and you wonder to yourself if ideas must be truly stupid to convince VCs and investors to invest. (Or do you simply need to make bold, audacious and completely improbable/impossible claims, that make investors are too nervous to ignore you). ...and then 2 or ...

Grey Hair
Gravitas. Grey hair. How many time have you heard these terms used in describing what we needed to provide in order to create a serious client engagement. And how many times have these ever proved to be the most important definers of success?
- whoops!! i think i was taken out of context!!! but it was poor humour!!!
- mmmmm ! be mindful of not falling on your humour sword....especially in the cross cultural arena... "did you know the average human being has 1 testicle and 1 breast?"..yea my opening and final statistical gag was met by blank stares.
