- Absolutes do not exist. For something to be absolute, it has to be absolutely accepted - and nothing is. Even the most basic human rights aren't accepted by everyone (I don't think I need to provide examples, just read a newspaper). Thus, everything is open to interpretation leaving us with nothing more than individual conclusions.

- While I think putting something as "the right to the pursuit of happiness" into the constitution at the time it was written might have been quite a novel thing to do, I find it equally surprising that the founding fathers have left it so vague.
