- I think everyone, or at least almost everyone, can be a good listener. Survival is about knowing (sensing) what's going on, and responding accordingly. We IM and BBM
We IM and BBM. We Tweet. We Blog. We SMS and MMS. E-mail. V-mail. We video conference and Halo. We publish our views and our take on the news. Scream about our right to privacy…but we let it all hang out. We start rumors, correct them, and then start new ones. We forward nonsense and complain when we get spammed. We talk about interactivity but really mean what I send you.

Listening
Do we really listen? Do we really listen as “to pay attention; heed; obey’—as defined by the dictionary?
Or do we just hear—as in “to perceive by the ear “—also as defined by the dictionary.

- AH!! but then you are not really listening as defined by the above -- if you dont act on what you hear -- you have only heard...
